Quality Assurance
Overview
The STOMP simulator is custom developed software at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) that meets NQA-1-2000 software requirements, as well as the requirements specified under DOE Order 414.1C for Safety Software. The quality assurance (QA) efforts are described and documented in the following files:
- Program Description (
PDF format, 12 KB) - summarizes the quality assurance activities and documents, identifies the STOMP modes that are compliant with NQA-1-2000 and DOE Order 414.1c, and lists the publicly available STOMP guidance documents. - Requirements document (
PDF format, 134 KB) - Project Management Plan (
PDF format, 56 KB) - Software Design Description (
PDF format, 111 KB) - Software Test Plan (
PDF format, 149 KB) - Configuration Management Plan (
PDF format, 68 KB) - All-Modes Test Report (

The above documents are also available on the STOMP SharePoint© site. The SharePoint site is interactive and allows users to post and retrieve documents, comments, and requests. For that reason, the SharePoint site is used to track software change requests and dispositions. The SharePoint site will be viewable to external users by November 2007, but it is currently only viewable to PNNL staff. If you want more information about the SharePoint site and its contents but are unable to view it, contact Vicky Freedman.
